This session has been designed specifically for individuals who may, as part of their role, be required to attend a Police Station alongside their client.
The key goal of the session is to ensure that employees can provide the best service for their client, their employer and the community whilst attending the Police Station as an Appropriate Adult.

- The Custody Suite personnel
- The procedures in the custody suite and the role of the Appropriate Adult
- Effective recording practices
- The do's and don'ts in a custody suite
- Areas of potential conflict in the role of an Appropriate Adult and how to address them
- How to deal with the naturally oppressive nature of custody suites
- Guidance regarding the development of
policies and procedures for the protection of themselves and their employees when
providing this service.
